Working within our Business Improvement Team and alongside our AI Strategy Team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across every department, delivering projects that improve efficiency, productivity and customer experience while championing a culture of innovation.

As our Digital Innovation Specialist, you'll:
- Identify opportunities to improve business performance through digital technology, automation and AI.
- Lead and support digital innovation projects from concept through to implementation.
- Work with colleagues across the business to understand challenges and develop practical digital solutions.
- Deliver opportunities identified by the AI Strategy Team and wider business.
- Research, test and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Design and implement workflow automation and process improvements.
- Support the adoption of tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and future AI technologies.
- Measure project success and demonstrate tangible business benefits.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and coaching.
- Create guidance, resources and best practices to support responsible technology adoption.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience leading or contributing to digital transformation, automation, AI or business improvement initiatives.
- A track record of using technology to improve business processes, efficiency and performance.
- Experience working with stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Digital Technology or a related field.
- A genuine interest in digital innovation, automation and AI.
- Evidence of your passion through projects, placements, work experience or personal development.
- Strong digital skills and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
You'll be:

It would be advantageous if you have experience with:
- Microsoft Power Platform
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Power BI
- Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or similar AI tools
- Low-code or no-code development platforms
- Python, APIs or data analysis
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Manufacturing, engineering or operational environments
- Project delivery in professional, academic or voluntary settings
Within your first 12 months, you'll have:
- Delivered impactful digital and AI projects that provide measurable business benefits.
- Successfully implemented opportunities identified by both the AI Strategy Team and operational departments.
- Increased adoption and confidence in AI and digital technologies across the organisation.
- Reduced manual effort through automation and smarter ways of working.
