We’re looking for a Service Assistant to join us at Osterley Park and House to help busy teams throughout our visitor operations.
This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.
Salary: £12.75 per hour.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to our Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of dedicated welcome staff working at Osterley Park & House. Giving our visitors the best service in welcome areas, the shop and the café you will turn to hand to various tasks, with a particular emphasis on increasing access for visitors with disabilities - for example using the stair climber and fetching personal mobility vehicles and helping show visitors how to use them. You will enable visitors to have a seamless day out and create great memories.
What you'll be doing:The core part of your job is to give vital and positive support to your colleagues, wherever you’re needed, with a focus on greeting and helping visitors. No two days will be the same. You can expect to meet many different people and gain experience in different visitor areas. You’ll get involved in all kinds of tasks, including greeting visitors on arrival, restocking the shelves in the shop and clearing tables in the café. Most importantly, you’ll be talking to visitors, answering their questions and making sure they can find everything they need to enjoy their day.
