We are seeking an experienced Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently to optimise seating arrangements.
- Take accurate orders, serve food and beverages promptly, and attend to guest needs throughout their visit.
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Manage guest complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Support team members during peak hours by sharing responsibilities such as setting tables or assisting with deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with a strong focus on guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Experience in serving and food preparation within a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions confidently.
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
