Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in Guitar
- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized lesson plans
- Help students improve their study skills and develop effective learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a music tutor preferably with guitar with experience in Rockschool, ABRSM and/or Trinity examining boards.
- Experience working with children, especially in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education principles and strategies is a plus
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and resources
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Passion for education and a desire to help students succeed
