We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Planning Administrator to join our dynamic planning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all administration processes within the Planning Department run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely planning and scheduling orders to the production floor.
- Co-ordinate production workflow for multiple products for different customers working with departmental managers.
- Plan and prioritize ensuring the achievement of maximum performance with minimum delay.
- Assign perishable Raw Materials to cover Production demand, to achieve internal and financial targets, set by departments.
- Monitor production prioritizing deadlines, ready for the out loading of vehicles.
- Support the team by addressing any issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Prepare KPI reports on Performance and Status for submission in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with different departments, such as Quality Control and Warehouse to support the Production teams.
- Produce a weekly schedule of work to be able to forecast Raw Material and Ingredients Usage.
- Support with managing the sales and order processing for the site.
- Work and communicate with Customers regarding before vs after sales.Process customer returns and communicate with the wider team.
- Plan daily transport operations, to support and fulfill any customer demand to maintain the target of 100% service level.
- Ensure all communication and transferring of all information/data is done in an effective and timely manner.Ensuring the MRP system is correct and up to date.
- Manage & maintain filing and archiving system (both hard and electronic) on a daily/monthly basis ensuring all information\ data is stored correctly.
Requirements
- Excellent Organisational and administration skills Excellent communication skills, proactive, can work as part of and on own initiative
- Planning administration experience
- Experience working within a planning department
- Ability to multitask, work to deadlines with a strong attention to detail
- Undertake additional tasks when required
- Promote Food Safety Culture
- Food Safety Level 2
- Experience and knowledge of FMCG (desirable)
