Job Overview
Join our team as a Cleaning Operative and play a vital role in maintaining a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment. This position is factory based and requires the use of a battery scrubber drier to wet clean factory floors.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently according to scheduled routines and quality standards.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to supervisors for swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and record completed tasks accurately for accountability.
- Assist with waste disposal procedures, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting supplies, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations is desirable.
