At Guide Dogs, we’re committed to helping people with sight loss live the life they choose. As our National Safeguarding Manager, you’ll play a vital role in making that possible by ensuring robust safeguarding practices are embedded across everything we do.
Acting as the Lead Designated Person, you’ll provide expert leadership and guidance to protect children, young people, and adults at risk who come into contact with our organisation. This is a highly impactful role where you’ll shape safeguarding strategy, influence culture, and support colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality services.
About you
You’ll be an experienced safeguarding professional with strong leadership capability and a genuine passion for making a difference.
You’ll bring:
- Experience working with children and adults at risk in social care, education, or the charity sector
- Confidence in influencing and advising at all levels
- The ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- A collaborative approach, with experience working across large organisations
