Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications meticulously during all phases of work.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for compliance purposes.
- Respond promptly to emergency repairs or system failures to minimize downtime.
- Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters.
- Skilled in operating power tools safely and effectively on various projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.

Pay: £37,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
