We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for an ongoing Monday-to-Friday position based in Bradford (BD4 area).
Role Details
- Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
- Location: Bradford, BD4
- Contract: Ongoing Work
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Occasional Weekend
- Hours: Varied start and finish times
- Earliest Start Time: 4:00am
- Work Type: Multi-drop deliveries
- Deliveries: Approximately 10–15 drops per day
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Guaranteed 8 hours per shift - Average shift length 10 to 11 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Complete approximately 10–15 multi-drop deliveries per day
- Deliver and collect goods safely and efficiently according to planned routes and schedules
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely
- Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
- Comply with UK drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks where required
- Previous multi-drop HGV experience would be advantageous
