Studio Cleaner
Location: Holborn, Central London
Hours: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 2:30-6:30pm, Monday–Friday)
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Fitness studio is looking for a reliable, detail-focused and conscientious cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis.
This is an in-house role, not agency work. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, calm and premium environment for our members.
You will be supported with a structured cleaning schedule, full induction, and all professional cleaning products, equipment and PPE required to carry out the role to a high standard.
The Role
As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the look, feel and hygiene of our studio. Your work directly contributes to the member experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitising all bikes and studio equipment
- Maintaining the studio, reception, changing rooms, showers and toilets to a consistently high standard
- Cleaning mirrors, glass and all high-touch surfaces
- Vacuuming, mopping and maintaining all flooring and communal areas
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
- Completing regular cleaning and hygiene checks throughout each shift
- Reporting maintenance or repair issues promptly
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Our Standards
Each day includes both essential cleaning tasks and a designated focus area, ensuring every part of the studio receives regular, thorough attention. Focus areas may include bikes, the studio, mirrors and glass, reception, storage areas, flooring, high-level dusting and changing rooms.
We’re looking for someone who notices the small details, takes ownership of their space, and takes pride in leaving every area looking its best.
About You
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Experience in a gym, boutique fitness studio, hotel or premium office environment is an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Eligible to work in the UK
