As a Dietetic Assistant you will work closely with Registered Dietitians to deliver high quality patient centred nutritional care across community settings. Your responsibilities will include: -
Assisting Dietitians with assessing and monitoring patients’ nutritional needs
Supporting patients by reinforcing dietetic advice and helping them work towards their nutritional goals
Contributing to waiting list management, patient information resources and the oral nutritional supplement sample service
Helping deliver group education sessions and health promotion activities
Communicating effectively with patients, carers, GP practices, care homes, and wider MDT colleagues
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with Trust standards
This role involves working flexibly across the locality.
