The Role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Warehouse Operative / Paint Mixer to join our busy and supportive team. In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for key warehouse operations, paint mixing, and occasional deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, mix, and pack customer orders for timely delivery.
- Stock Management: Receive and check incoming stock, ensure proper storage and stock rotation, and maintain quality standards.
- Paint Mixing: Follow precise formulations to mix custom paint colours for the automotive and industrial sectors.
- Colour Matching: Learn and develop skills in colour matching using advanced spectrophotometers and manual methods.
- Customer Interaction: Provide high-quality service and support, both over the phone and face-to-face.
- Delivery Assistance: Occasionally deliver orders to local customers as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Punctual, dependable, and hardworking with a strong team ethic.
- Good communication and literacy skills.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a colour vision test (essential for paint mixing and matching).
- A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse or paint mixing experience is a bonus, but not required – full training will be provided.
- Forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.
