Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

About Us
At Cowling & Wilcox, we’ve been passionate about art since the 1960s. We supply artists and designers with the materials they love, and our warehouse team plays a huge part in keeping everything running smoothly. We’re a friendly, down‑to‑earth bunch, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a team that gets things done.
About the Role
If you like a job where you’re on your feet, moving around, and doing something different each day, this role could be a great fit. You’ll be helping with all sorts of warehouse tasks — lifting, packing, organising, loading, and more. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll never be bored.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Putting stock away and keeping the warehouse organised
- Helping with goods‑in and goods‑out
- General warehouse tasks as needed
- Supporting the head quarter's team wherever needed
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who’s punctual, reliable, positive, and ready to get stuck in. To be shortlisted, you’ll need to meet all of the following:
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items throughout the day
- Happy being on your feet and moving around for long periods
- Have your own reliable transport (we’re not easy to reach by public transport)
- Live within 30 minutes of our warehouse
- Available Monday–Friday full‑time, with occasional weekend work
- Able to take part in a telephone screening interview
- Able to attend a paid trial day if selected
- Ready to start immediately or very soon
