We’re looking for a passionate and driven Retail Manager to lead our shop team with energy and creativity, ensuring every guest leaves with a genuine connection to the Honister experience.
About the Role
As our Retail Manager, you’ll take the lead in running the Honister shop, ensuring high standards throughout the retail environment while motivating and supporting the team around you. From customer experience and merchandising to training, stock control, and sales performance, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of our retail operation.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys leading by example, building team confidence, and creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspiring, motivating, and supporting the retail team to deliver the Honister experience
- Managing staff rotas, daily operations, and team performance
- Providing ongoing coaching, training, and development
- Creating a positive and professional working environment
Driving Sales & Performance
- Encouraging sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Supporting upselling opportunities across all products
- Monitoring sales performance and helping the team achieve targets
- Processing bespoke orders and online sales with care and accuracy
- Working alongside our Sales Manager to support wider company sales strategies
Maintaining Exceptional Standards
- Ensuring the shop is always clean, organised, and beautifully presented
- Managing stock levels, ordering, and inventory accuracy
- Making sure displays, pricing, and merchandising are maintained to a high standard
- Following all Health & Safety and site procedures
Delivering Outstanding Customer Service
- Welcoming visitors and creating a friendly, engaging atmosphere
- Supporting customers with enquiries, bespoke orders, and product advice
- Helping every guest leave feeling uplifted, informed, and keen to return
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A positive, proactive, and hands-on approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for customer service and team development
- Confidence working in a busy visitor-focused environment
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
