Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Site Services/Facilities Operative to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of our site, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help uphold high standards of site operations, supporting both daily activities and long-term maintenance projects. To maintain a clean and tidy well presented site ensuring waste, washroom, vending and general facilities standards are consistently met.
Duties
- Keep the warehouse and surrounding site free of debris and gneral waste
- Empty bins regularly and manage waste/recycling in line with sit pocedures
- Collect and manage pallets keeping lanes and walkways clear
- Ensure an adequate supply of black sacks and general consumables at all times
- Maintain washroom supplies, including toilet roll at all required locations
- Monitor and restock vending machines to keep them well stocked and operational
- Maintain Lawns and external grounds, including trimming/mowing
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks, including touch up painting of walls and internal/extenal surfaces as needed.
- Assist with low level maintenance of sit stors where required
- Report any larger maintenance repair or safety issues to the Head of Facilities
Skills
- Reliable, self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable with physical hands on work (indoor and outdoor)
- Basic competence in grounds maintenance and general handyman tasks (painting, minor repairs)
- Good attention to detail and pride in site presentation

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
