What you’ll do
We're looking for a Finance Systems Assistant to join our Finance team. This is a varied role that sits at the heart of the firm's finance operations, providing support across a range of systems, processes and administrative tasks.
You'll help maintain and administer our finance systems, supporting activities such as setting up new users, assigning roles and fee earner mappings, and updating access rights as colleagues join, leave or move within the firm. You'll also support the administration of information barriers on sensitive matters, ensuring appropriate controls are in place where required.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll assist with workflow management, helping to ensure work is allocated effectively during periods of absence and that tasks continue to move smoothly through our internal systems. You'll also support our e-invoicing processes, assist with the administration of the Emburse expenses platform and help resolve day-to-day finance systems queries.
Alongside your systems responsibilities, you'll provide support with billing-related tasks and help cover the rates inbox when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with systems and processes, solving problems and delivering a high level of service to internal stakeholders.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who is organised, methodical and enjoys working with systems, data and processes. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
You'll have previous administrative experience and be confident using Microsoft Office and a range of business systems. Experience of working within a finance, systems or professional services environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
As you'll be supporting colleagues across the firm, you'll have strong communication skills and a helpful, customer-focused approach. You'll enjoy problem-solving, be keen to learn and have the confidence to investigate issues and see them through to resolution.
Most importantly, you'll be a proactive team player who enjoys working collaboratively and is always willing to support colleagues and contribute to the success of the wider Finance team.
