Atkins Diesel Specialists is a family-owned business with over 50 years in the trade. We're a trusted Bosch Car Service Centre and Bosch Diesel Centre based in Mansfield, providing high-quality vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and diesel fuel system repair to a loyal customer base. We're a fun, friendly team looking for an organised Business Administrator to join us and be the first point of contact for our customers.
**The Role**
You'll be the friendly face and voice of the business, combining customer service with day-to-day office administration. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering phone calls and emails, booking vehicles in for service and repair work
- Greeting customers in person and handling queries, updates, and collections
- Keeping customers informed on job progress and liaising with the workshop team
- Scheduling and maintaining the daily workshop diary
- Processing invoices, job sheets, and paperwork accurately
- Maintaining customer and vehicle records
- Ordering parts and office supplies as needed
- General office duties - filing, correspondence, and supporting the team as required
**What We're Looking For**
- Previous experience in an admin, reception, or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face
- Confident using office software (e.g. Microsoft Office) and booking/scheduling systems
- Well organised, with good attention to detail
- A friendly, professional manner and a team-player attitude
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not essential - full training provided

- Competitive salary of £23,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience and hours worked
