Blue Apple are exited to be expanding in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area and we are looking for a motivational, inspiring and ideally Qualified Employability Tutor with a relevant teaching qualification, certificate or diploma in teaching, if possible. Purpose of the job role:
To deliver high quality employment and skills courses, which are a fun, engaging and life changing learning experience for each student. You must be passionate about helping people and genuinely want to make a difference. .
Key roles and responsibilities:
· Deliver dynamic, fun and interactive learning sessions
· Produce appropriate SOW/Lesson plans where necessary
· Create SMART learning plans
· Promote and record the learner journey
· Support Functional Skills within all delivery sessions
· Meet required targets for retention and success
· Offer information, advice and guidance to promote further studies
· Review learner progress and adjust accordingly
· Stretch and challenge learners to enable them to reach their potential
· Provide accurate assessment decisions
· Full feedback to be given to the learner on how to further progress with key links to employability and course criteria
· Complete courses within an agreed time scale
· Prepare and complete all administrative tasks to a high standard
· Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example at all times
· Complete minimum set of PDP each week
· Be accountable and responsible for your own actions
· Take part in 1:1 progress reviews
· Achieve all set KPI’s
· Promote Blue Apple in a positive light at every opportunity
· Self-manage and be pro-active within your working hours
Work remotely when marking and preparing for courses
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
