We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will enhance our customers' experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made to the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly service.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with basic maths skills for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential; training will be provided.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred to maintain hygiene standards.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is essential.
