You will be part of the journey, from the excitement of the beloved pets’ first vaccination, during periods of illness, right up to offering condolences when difficult decisions must be made.
What your typical day will look like:
Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
Your great client service during a client's visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit. You will greet each client and offer support, guidance and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must. Previous veterinary experience desirable but not essential.
The role is a 32 hour contract working Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9am - 7pm. The job role will include weekends on a rolling rota. Saturday shifts are 9am - 5pm and Sunday's 10am - 4pm. You will be working 1 full weekend in every 8 weeks and two additional Saturdays. We are looking for someone who can work at both our Vets For Pets Peterborough practice and our Vets For Pets Bretton practice, so applicants must be able to attend shifts at both locations. Hours can be discussed on application depending on the candidates availability.
