Job Overview
We are looking for an organized and friendly Customer Service & Administrator to join our small, independent plumbing and heating team based in Bedminster, Bristol. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly. You will manage incoming phone calls, respond to emails, and organize our engineers' daily schedules.
Key Responsibilities·
- Answer Calls: Greet customers warmly and answer questions about our services.
- Book Appointments: Schedule customer visits and manage the digital company calendar.
- Manage Emails: Respond quickly to email inquiries and send out booking confirmations.
- Coordinate Engineers: Assign jobs to the right engineer based on their location and skills.
- Admin Support: Update customer records, type up basic quotes, and log completed jobs.
Required Skills
- Communication: Excellent telephone manner and clear written English for emails.
- Organisation: Ability to handle multiple bookings without double-scheduling.
- Tech Literacy: Experience using emails, digital calendars, or basic scheduling software.
- Problem Solving: Ability to stay calm and identify urgent engineering or plumbing emergencies.
Desirable (But Not Essential)· Previous experience working in a trades, construction, or engineering business.· Knowledge of the Bristol area for efficient travel routing.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
