We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Support Worker/Team Leader to join our vibrant care team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and professional care aligned with individual care plans
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs and preferences
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and supervision
- Assist with daily activities such as medication administration, personal care, and mobility support
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and progress reports using IT systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards within the care home setting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback, coaching team members, and supporting training needs
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or leadership experience within senior or adult care settings, preferably in a care home environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, team members, and external professionals
- Experience in developing and reviewing care plans to meet individual needs
- Valid driving license is desirable for supporting residents’ outings or appointments
- Knowledge of IT systems used for documentation and reporting in healthcare settings
- Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations
- Ability to motivate others and lead by example in delivering high standards of care

Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
