The Affordable Group manufactures windows & doors and has been established for over 30 years, supplying the building trade throughout the UK. We have doubled our turnover over the last 5 years and now employ over 300 staff in Blackpool and Poulton-Le-Fylde.
The Affordable Group is a “John Lewis “ type of business where employees (with 12 months of service) receive a share in the profits. The profit share for 2024 & 2025 after deductions for every employee was £2000. We believe in promotion from within, and almost all senior management started as junior employees.

Responsibilities
·Loading products onto trucks to be hauled to customer locations/warehouses
·Ensure all loads are loaded on time
·Work with warehouse/production staff to ensure all orders are filled timely and accurately
·Ensure that all loads are loaded safely and efficiently by staff and customers by following safety guidelines
Skills
-Be reliable
-Able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Able to use a common sense approach
- Able to work as a team member
- Basic literacy (loading off paperwork)
- Full driving licence (CAT B) is required, as you may be required to commute between our sites using a company vehicle.
FULL training will be provided
Please note that the initial training for successful candidates will take place on Cornford Road, Blackpool FY4 4QA, as that's where our main distribution centre is based. This training will take around 4-8 weeks.
Working hours
Monday to Friday 7:45am to 4 pm
Starting pay: £13.25ph (pay review after 3 months) + annual pay review every April.
