Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring guests receive outstanding service, and supporting the smooth operation of the venue. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is needed, Must be over 18 due to the legality of the role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail
- Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support barista duties if required, including preparing coffee and other beverages
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is desirable
- Barista experience is a plus but not essential
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including evenings and weekends is required
