We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team in our Flagship nursery in Alencon Link, Basingstoke.
In this role, you will provide high-quality care and education to young children, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes their developmental milestones. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for children’s growth, learning, and well-being, ensuring each child feels valued and supported throughout their early years.
You must hold a minimum Level 3 qualification or equivalent for this position.
Hours of Work
40 or 45 hours per week between the hours of Monday to Friday, 7.15am – 6.30pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your room in conjunction with other staff
- To keep on-line learning journals and developmental records up to date on your key children
- Support all staff and work as part of a team
- To ensure that you have read and understand Little Me Day Nurseries policies and procedures and where necessary seek guidance from the Nursery Manager
- Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members
- Ensure that the nursery offers an environment which reflects the cultural diversity of all children
- To be involved in out of working hours activities, e.g. training, monthly staff meetings, fundraising events
- To be flexible within working practices of the Setting. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the Setting, e.g. preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc.
- Ensure all daily paper work is completed risk assessments
- Look upon the Setting as a “whole” where can your help be most utilised, be constantly aware of the needs of children
- Maintain at all times the highest standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the nursery
- Ensure each child is collected by someone known to Setting
- To respect the confidentiality of information received
- To develop your role within the team especially with regard as a key worker

Pay: £32,240.00-£36,270.00 per year
