Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coat Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a background in spraying. The Powder Coat Applicator plays a vital part in delivering durable, aesthetically pleasing products that meet client specifications.
Duties
- Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns and automated systems, to apply uniform coats
- Set up and calibrate spray booths and related machinery to ensure optimal application
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and reporting repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials within the warehouse or production area as required
Requirement
- Prior experience in powder application / spraying would be advantageous / desirable or a willingness to learn the spraying process ( wage variable )
- Ability to operate and maintain spray booths and powder coating machinery effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality finishes
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and work in a confined space if necessary.
