Make a real impact on attendance, wellbeing and organisational culture.
This is not a traditional sickness absence management role. We're looking for an experienced HR professional to lead and transform how sickness absence is managed across the Council, driving a proactive, prevention focused approach that improves attendance, that supports employee wellbeing and builds management capability.
About the Role
You will work closely with managers, senior leaders, trade unions and HR colleagues to develop effective strategies, improve processes and embed best practice. You'll use data and insight to identify trends, influence decision making and deliver meaningful change across the organisation.
About You
You will be a CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards) HR professional with significant experience advising on complex sickness absence cases and employee relations matters. You'll have strong analytical skills, a sound understanding of employment law and the ability to influence, challenge and support stakeholders at all levels.
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to influence organisational culture and help create a healthier, more supportive workplace. If you're looking for a role that combines strategic thinking, data-driven decision making and people-focused change, we'd love to hear from you.
