The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, as well as carrying out Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Perform Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests to DVSA standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
- Use modern diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate job records and keep the workshop clean and organised.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Current Class 4 & Class 7 MOT Tester licence (or Class 4 with willingness to obtain Class 7 qualification).
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Last Saturday of each month worked and the First Saturday of each month worked
