Overview
We are seeking experienced, compassionate and dedicated education professionals at all levels (with a minimum Level 3 qualification specifically within the Early Years sector) to work across Pre-School/Toddler/Baby Rooms as Nursery Practitioners. Join our expanding early childhood education team at this exciting time as we have almost doubled our capacity following a substantial investment in the setting over 2024/25. Together with a focus on investing in training and development the team at Nellys Nursery has grown and diversified to support the group Pedagogy and Curriculum thereby offering broad and supportive career development opportunities. In this role, you will provide a nurturing and safe environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and attentive care. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable experience & clear passion for working with young children (from 3 months upwards - depending on experience).
Skills
- A robust working knowledge of the EYFS is essential along with experience of working with early-years children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care and toddler care
- Strong classroom management skills to foster positive behavior and social skills
- Paediatric First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already certified
- Experience with special education or working with children with extra needs is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience and adaptability
