Due to a significant increase in workload, DNH Truck and Van Services is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Mechanic to join our busy team of technicians. If you take pride in your work and thrive in a fast-paced workshop environment, we want to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain & Repair: Work on a variety of HGVs in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnostics & Inspection: Carry out PMIs, complex repairs, and electronic diagnostics on both HGV vehicles and trailers.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct essential servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
- MOT Prep: Prepare vehicles for MOTs to ensure first-time pass rates.
- Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately and liaise effectively with the Workshop Manager and office staff.
Skills & Requirements
- Experienced Mechanic: Proven track record in HGV maintenance and repair.
- Licensing: Must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV License.
- Mindset: A true team player with a flexible "can-do" attitude and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
