Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver / warehouse person to join our dynamic team on a part time basis.
Hours:
Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm (but flexibility required).
The ideal candidate must have experience in multi drop deliveries.
A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is required.
This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and effective communication skills.
Flexibility, depending on the needs of the business, is also required.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods onto and from our delivery van.
- Organise and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of orders for dispatch, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers when completing deliveries and dealing with potential issues.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in electrical wholesale is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
- Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A valid UK driver's licence is required.
