Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the warehouse, ensuring efficient business processes, and optimising supply chain activities. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, shipping and receiving, as well as proficiency in warehouse management systems.
Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control through effective use of warehouse management systems.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient business processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor profit loss statements and identify areas for improvement within the warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline logistics operations.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including inventory counts and order fulfilment.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics management.
- Ability to analyse profit loss statements and implement strategies for improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills to manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
