Massage Therapist – Reflexology, Deep Tissue & Chinese Therapies
We are looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our busy and established massage and wellness team in Edinburgh.
Our approach is different from a typical massage spa. We specialise in foot reflexology, deep-tissue massage and traditional Chinese massage therapies, with a strong focus on effective therapeutic treatments tailored to each client.
Our Chinese massage treatments combine deep-tissue techniques, pressure-point therapy and an understanding of the body’s meridians, working to release tension, unblock energy flow and improve overall wellbeing.
The Role
We are looking for a therapist who is confident providing strong, high-quality therapeutic treatments and who enjoys working with a wide range of clients.
Your treatments will include:
- Foot reflexology
- Deep-tissue massage
- Chinese massage techniques
- Pressure-point and meridian-based treatments
- Personalised treatments based on each client’s areas of tension, discomfort and individual needs
Experience with Chinese massage therapies and reflexology is highly desirable. However, we are also interested in experienced deep-tissue therapists who have the ability and willingness to learn our specialist techniques.
Working Pattern
This position requires therapists who can work full-day shifts.
We can offer 3, 4 or 5 full days per week, depending on the candidate.
Saturday availability is mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently high-quality massage and reflexology treatments.
- Assess each client’s needs and adapt treatments accordingly.
- Provide confident deep-tissue and therapeutic massage rather than simply a relaxation massage.
- Apply pressure-point, reflexology and Chinese massage techniques where appropriate.
- Build good relationships with clients and provide a professional, welcoming experience.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and treatment-room standards.
- Follow all health, safety and client-confidentiality requirements.
- Work effectively as part of our therapist team.
- Contribute to daily cleaning activities
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ professional massage experience required.
- Recognised massage therapy qualification.
- Strong deep-tissue massage skills are essential.
- Reflexology experience is highly desirable.
- Chinese massage or other traditional Chinese therapy experience is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of anatomy and therapeutic massage techniques.
- Professional, reliable and client-focused.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a busy team.
