Floor Assistant
The Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Floor Assistants to join our production team. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting a range of essential factory operations.
A bit about you:
- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:·
- Hand stripping work for the finishing department,
- Turning piles of board as required to supply the Print Presses,
- Manning the end of a gluing line, ensuring products are correctly packed and handled.
- Assisting with general factory duties as required.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping and health & safety.
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
Working Hours
You will be required to work one of the following shift patterns, Monday to Friday:
Double Days (Alternating Weekly):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
or
Three Shift Rotation (Alternating):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- 10:00pm – 6:00am
