Zen Educate is seeking Full-Time Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools in Burnham-on-Crouch and surrounding towns such as Southminster, Althorne, Latchingdon, and Cold Norton. We are looking for committed individuals ready to work Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM). If you have classroom experience, a passion for SEN support, and access to a car, we want to get you into the classroom immediately!

The Mission
As a key member of the classroom team, you will:
- Drive Progress: Support the class teacher by leading small group interventions or working 1:1 with students to close learning gaps.
- SEN Specialist: Provide essential support for children with Special Educational Needs, ensuring they have the tools and confidence to succeed.
- Boost Engagement: Help keep the classroom environment focused, positive, and productive for everyone.
- Be a Role Model: Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage their social, emotional, and academic development.
Who We Are Looking For
We want to hear from you if:
- Proven Experience: You have strong classroom experience or significant transferable experience working with children (e.g., specialized coaching, youth work, or childcare).
- SEN Savvy: You are confident and patient when supporting children with additional needs such as Autism or ADHD.
- Full-Time Commitment: You can commit to the full school week (8:30–4:00) for the duration of the term.
- Transport: Due to the rural locations of some schools, access to a car or vehicle is essential to reach schools across the Burnham and Dengie area.
- Proactive Attitude: You are willing to complete all necessary compliance training and background checks to be classroom-ready.
