We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse operation. This is predominantly a hands-on warehouse position, with FLT driving required as part of the role.
Candidates must hold a valid Reach or Counterbalance FLT licence and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
Key Duties
- General warehouse duties including picking, packing and preparing orders
- Regular manual handling and heavy lifting of products weighing up to 40kg
- Moving and organising stock throughout the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Checking stock and ensuring products are stored correctly
- Operating a Reach or Counterbalance FLT when required
- Moving and replenishing palletised stock
- Completing basic paperwork and stock checks
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
- Following all site Health & Safety procedures
Shift Pattern
Weekly rotating shifts:
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
Candidates must be available to work both shifts on a weekly rotation.
Requirements
- Valid Reach or Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Comfortable with a role that is primarily warehouse work rather than full-time FLT driving
- Able to safely carry out frequent manual handling, including items weighing up to 40kg, in line with site procedures
- Physically comfortable working in a demanding warehouse environment
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
Please note: This is not a full-time FLT driving position. The majority of the role involves general warehouse and manual handling duties, with FLT driving carried out when required.
