Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements or reservations
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
- Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food handling and preparation tasks
