Responsibilities
- Provide professional hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments for ladies and children.
- Offer personalised consultations to understand client preferences and advise on suitable styles or colour options.
- Maintain a clean, organised workstation adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth client flow throughout the day.
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or specialised treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices where applicable, sharing expertise in hairdressing techniques and customer service.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in hairdressing and beauty treatments.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing for ladies and children, with a strong portfolio of diverse styles.
- Skills in store management or overseeing salon operations are advantageous.
- Barbering skills are a plus but not essential.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Experience in front desk operations including appointment booking and client management systems.
- Mentoring or training experience to support team development.
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions and makeup application to offer comprehensive beauty services.
- Strong upselling capabilities to promote additional treatments confidently without compromising client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members alike.
