It starts with our people, which is why we need a Junior Accounts Payable Processing Clerk to join our team. An opportunity to work within an international law firm, in a team and department that are looking to further improve efficiencies and streamline/automate working processes.
Opportunity to suggest and implement changes with the potential to assume responsibility for work completed elsewhere in the future.
Key Responsibilites
- Uploading supplier invoices into Emburse Enterprise (Chrome River).
- Posting vouchers and invoices into 3E, ensuring information is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Helping to resolve supplier and invoice queries from colleagues across the firm and external suppliers.
- Reconciling supplier statements to ensure supplier accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Assisting with month end activities and other routine finance tasks.
- Developing knowledge of wider Accounts Payable processes to provide cover during periods of holiday and absence
Skills and experience required
- This role would suit a university graduate, college leaver, or an individual looking to begin a career in finance within a professional services or legal environment.
- Additional language skills, particularly French, would be beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Positive and collaborative team player who enjoys working with others and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous administration, customer service or finance experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- A genuine interest in developing a career in finance, with scope for growth and progression within the team.
