HGV Class 1 Drivers – Halifax | £1,000 Joining Bonus!
We’re looking for 3 x experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join us on a tramping cover position based at a client site in Halifax.
Looking for regular Monday–Friday work, competitive rates and the opportunity to earn a £1,000 joining bonus? This could be the role for you.
The Job
- HGV Class 1 / C+E
- Based in Halifax
- Monday to Friday
- Tramping work – averaging 2–3 nights out per week
- Starts from around 05:00
- Average shift length 10–13 hours
- £16.50 per hour PAYE
- £26.20 per night out
- £1,000 joining bonus
- Holiday pay paid separately
- Occasional Saturday run-back available if wanted
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV 1 drivers looking for consistent weekday work in the Halifax area, with the potential for ongoing/permanent employment.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year’s HGV Class 1 experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 points, with no major endorsements
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious
