Tooting & Croydon| £14.22 + £1.30 per hour London weighting
We are currently recruiting 3 Female Support Workers in London who have clear speech and are BSL qualified to provide communication support, community support, and independence support to 2 individuals who are deafblind.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, compassionate, and confident in communication, and who enjoys building meaningful relationships while supporting people to live life on their own terms.
Pay & Vacancies

2 vacancies – 15 hours per week (To include alternate weekends & 1 week day)
Shift Pattern

Weekdays and times to be mutually agreed
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will help individuals maintain independence, confidence, and access to their community.

Providing communication supportusing BSL / clear speech
-
Inclusive of making and receiving telephone calls on behalf of our clients.

Supporting individuals with daily activities and routines
-
Helping people access the community and social opportunities
-
Building positive and trusting relationships
We are looking for 3 Female Support Workers who are:
-
Level 2 British Sign Language qualified

Clear and confident in communication
-
Patient and understanding, able to work at the client’s pace
-
Flexible and able to adapt to individual needs
-
Able to build strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
-
Willing to go the extra mile while remaining within the role
-
Someone with good judgement and common sense
-
Comfortable completing simple paperwork and digital records
