Estate Cleaning Operative – 6 Hours per WeekJob Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Cleaning Operative to carry out the cleaning of the internal communal areas of a residential estate.
The role is for 6 hours per week and requires someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
All cleaning products and equipment will be supplied.
Duties will include:
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming communal floors
- Cleaning communal entrances, hallways, corridors and stairwells
- Cleaning lift areas where applicable
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning handrails, bannisters and skirting boards
- Cleaning internal doors, door frames and touch points
- Cleaning internal glass and communal windows where required
- Removing cobwebs and dust from accessible areas
- Spot cleaning walls and removing marks where possible
- Emptying communal litter bins and replacing liners where required
- Ensuring entrance areas are clean and presentable
- Reporting any maintenance, damage or health and safety concerns
- Completing attendance records and photographic evidence where required
- Ensuring all areas are left clean, tidy and safe following each visit
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and punctual
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is able to clean consistently to a high standard
- Is comfortable using a mobile phone to provide photographic evidence of completed work where required
Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Hours: 6 hours per week
Cleaning Area: Internal communal areas only
Cleaning Products & Equipment: Supplied
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
