We are looking to recruit compassionate, hardworking dynamic candidates to join our wonderful team supporting young adults with learning disabilities in a supported living setting.
Here at Footsteps care, we pride ourselves on supporting young adults to reach their full potential. We require all staff to be compassionate, empowering, kind, enthusiastic, understanding and be able to work on their initiative as well as working as part of a dynamic team to strive for the best outcomes for all the young adults.
Ideally, candidates will have at least one years’ experience in a caring background with children or young adults; however, full training can be given to those applying without experience. Ideally, candidates will have a level 3 in residential care but again, this is not essential, providing candidates are willing to embark on the level 3 once they have commenced employment.
Duties include supporting young adults daily. Meeting their daily needs, supporting them to access the community, attend appointments and support them with any medication etc. Some young adults may require support with some personal care, as well as record and report writing,
Other duties some domestic duties, planning menu's and cooking meals and assisting them in any areas of their daily living where there is a requirement.

Pay: From £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
