Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (Self-Employed / Freelance)

Millar Physio is seeking an experienced and motivated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our growing private practice on a self-employed / freelance basis.
Initially, the successful candidate will work 2 evenings per week, with the opportunity to increase hours to include weekends and potentially progress to a larger role as the business continues to expand.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physiotherapist who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care, and wants to be part of a modern, growing private practice.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions
- Delivering high-quality physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation programmes
- Maintaining accurate clinical notes and records
- Managing your own caseload independently
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the clinic
Essential Requirements
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent
- HCPC Registered Physiotherapist
- CSP Membership
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in private musculoskeletal practice
- Qualified in Acupuncture / Dry Needling
- Qualified in Deep Tissue / Sports Massage
- Strong manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload confidently
Desirable
- Experience treating sports injuries
- Experience using rehabilitation exercise software
- Previous private practice experience beyond 3 years
- Existing local links within Edinburgh or West Lothian

Hours
