At Little Door & Co, we create neighbourhood bars and restaurants that feel like walking into a friend's home. Built around the idea of a fictional flatshare, our venues are warm, welcoming and full of personality. As we continue to grow across London, we're looking for an experienced Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house team.
The Role
You'll be the face of the venue, leading from the floor and creating exceptional guest experiences from the moment guests walk through the door. You'll take pride in treating the venue like your own home, ensuring it's always guest-ready, beautifully presented, and maintained to the highest standards.
Working closely with the Head Chef and management team, you'll confidently run busy services, lead shifts, oversee Duty Management responsibilities, and ensure seamless communication between the kitchen and front of house. You'll champion food safety and allergen awareness, ensuring every guest can dine with confidence.
You'll play a key role in recruiting, developing and motivating an engaged front-of-house team, delivering regular training, coaching and feedback to help your team grow and succeed. You'll build effective floor rotas that support the needs of the business while creating a positive working environment.
Guest satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. You'll actively manage guest feedback, respond to online reviews, resolve complaints with empathy, and turn challenging situations into positive experiences that encourage guests to return.
You'll also help drive revenue by maximising covers, identifying sales opportunities, and inspiring your team to deliver confident, knowledgeable service while maintaining the warm, relaxed hospitality that makes Little Door & Co unique.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years' management experience in a busy hospitality environment.
- Is confident running high-volume shifts and acting as Duty Manager.
- Has excellent knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
- Builds strong relationships with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, working closely with the Head Chef.
- Has exceptional organisational skills and an outstanding eye for detail.
- Takes real pride in maintaining venue presentation, cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Enjoys recruiting, training, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Is experienced in creating and managing staff rotas.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and proactively managing online reviews and guest feedback.
- Is commercially aware and enjoys driving sales and revenue.
- Leads with energy, positivity and professionalism, motivating teams while maintaining consistently high standards.
- Holds a Personal Licence, or is willing to work towards obtaining one.
- Is ambitious, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career within a growing hospitality business.
