Multi-Skilled Operative – Waste Paper & Plastics Recycling
Location: Hampshire, SO21
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Salary: £36,506 per annum (paid weekly)
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team at a busy waste paper and plastics recycling facility in Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable income, great working environment, and opportunities to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and offloading HGVs using a counterbalance forklift
- Feeding the recycling plant using a 360° material handler
- Carrying out daily maintenance checks on machinery and equipment
- Performing general site cleaning and upkeep to maintain a safe, efficient workspace
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred, but full training will be provided
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence and/or 360 material handler ticket is an advantage
- A strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and commitment to health and safety
