Are you an organised, proactive professional who thrives in a varied role? We're looking for an enthusiastic Office Administrator / Executive Assistant to join our team in Cambridge and play a key role in supporting our people, our office, and our Executive Leadership Team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing office management, executive support, HR administration, and governance activities within a collaborative and professional environment. Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll support our Executive Director and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing reception duties such as welcoming visitors and answering and directing incoming telephone calls.

Managing post, access cards, the car parking system and general office administration.

Acting as a designated First Aider and Fire Evacuation Officer (training provided if required).

Supporting the organisation of workshops, conferences, and internal events.

Coordinating catering for meeting and events and preparing refreshments for onsite meetings.

Supporting the Executive Director with email management and calendar coordination.

Supporting governance activities such as attending Board and Committee meetings and producing high-quality minutes, maintaining Board documentation and coordinating Trustee travel arrangements for in-person Board meetings.

Take accurate notes and track actions from Executive Leadership Team meetings.

Supporting HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
What We're Looking For

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Previous experience in administration, executive support, or a similar role.

A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

Professional, approachable, and customer-focused.

Able to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and other digital systems.

Flexible, resourceful, and willing to support a variety of business functions.
