Ideal for school leavers - 1 Female apprentice care assistant required for all female residential care home for a minimum of 30 hours per week over a 2 week set rota. Shifts will be a mixture of either 7-2 and 2-9 including 1 weekend in 2
Shift Pattern could be similar to or as such as Wednesday 2-9 & Friday 7-2 Saturday & Sunday 7- 2 and the following week Tuesday 2-9, Wednesday 2-9, Thursday 7-2 & Friday 2-9. As well as 2 ancillary hours to be done per week at own choice of completion.
Ideal for school leavers, first job or change in career with no experience. Have to be female due to personal care duties and at request of service users. Duties to include personal care of residents during the day including toileting, completing necessary paperwork, serving food/drinks, providing enrichment activities and liaising with families/others. Previous care experience not essential and training will be given to achieve an NVQ 2 & 3 in care, care certificate and all other mandatory training. The successful candidate will need to pay fees to provide a clean DBS check and hold basic numeracy/literacy skills. Hourly rate starting at £8.30 with Pay enhancements for completed training & qualifications, bank holidays and fortnightly paid . Uniform provided, subsidised meals and pension scheme available. Minimum 2 year contract with possibility of permanent position on completion if suitable.
