Overview
We are a growing Electrical Engineering business looking for qualified Electricians (NVQ level 3 or higher) and Site Supervisors to join our team. We are an end-user business in commercial electrical engineering, and pride ourselves in the quality we offer our customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures across various sites. Your expertise will directly contribute to the safety and operational excellence of our infrastructure. We are committed to providing a paid opportunity where your skills can shine and grow.
Full-time employment contracts are also available, should you prefer. Employee benefits include Bupa health insurance, paid holiday, and overtime pay. Company vans are also provided for our engineers on an as needed basis, and for all Site Supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools with precision and safety in mind
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete projects accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and implement effective solutions promptly
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for future reference and compliance purposes
- Collaborate with other trades or team members to coordinate complex projects or emergency repairs
Experience
- Proven electrical experience in commercial settings demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
- CSCS, 18th edition and MEWPs license
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations is highly desirable
