Driver/Labourer – Memorial Masonry
We are a small, family-run business based in North Tyneside and are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver/Labourer to join our team.
The role involves installing and fixing memorials in local cemeteries, along with general groundwork and labouring duties. The work is varied, physical, and mainly outdoors.
Duties include:
- Driving company vehicles to and from sites.
- Installing and fixing memorials safely and to a high standard.
- Ground preparation and general labouring.
- Working as part of a small, friendly team.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment.
Essential requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must be eligible to drive our company vehicles under our motor insurance policy.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work outdoors in all weather.
- Able to carry out manual work.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in groundwork, construction, landscaping, or a similar hands-on role.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate with a good work ethic and willingness to learn.
Pay is competitive and dependent on experience.
